She is certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists and the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, and is a spiritually-oriented consultant.

A graduate of Central CT State University, American Institute of Hypnotherapy, The Hypnotherapy Training Company, The Banyan Hypnosis Center and has been a student of Science of Spirituality since 1974. Additionally, Ruth teaches Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to her clients on a regular basis.
